Hostal Ramos is a family business with a long history. Our beginnings date back to just before the 1992 Olympic Games, when we started with about 10 rooms and gradually expanded to what we are today.
The building, built in 1850, has a fascinating history: it was a hospice, a convent and more. Today, it still retains a beautiful interior courtyard, original ornamental ceilings and a majestic entrance.
Our team is made up of both family members and workers who have been with us practically since the beginning. We know the neighborhood and its surroundings perfectly, because we have lived here all our lives, or almost all our lives.
Although it is an old building, it has been lovingly renovated to offer comfort without losing its essence.
The rooms have bathroom, heating, air conditioning, television, telephone, and safe box. Good accommodation, where the structure of two centuries ago, the time in which the building was built, is maintained.
La Rambla, also known as Las Ramblas, is one of the main arteries of Barcelona and one of the most famous places in the city.
It is a pleasant 1.3 kilometers long promenade that connects Plaza de Cataluña with the old port of the city.
The Ramblas, always lively, has many terraces and it is pleasant to sit and watch the comings and goings of passers-by.
